Elena Rorabaugh has diverse experience in a number of commercial areas and counsels both businesses and individuals with respect to various types of legal issues. Her practice experience includes mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; business planning and structuring; and real estate, including oil and gas. Prior to joining Galanter Tomosovich, Elena practiced with one of Pittsburgh’s largest law firms, where she led a number of large-scale corporate transactional projects and negotiated various types of commercial transactions. She also has extensive experience counseling clients with respect to real estate matters, including drafting and negotiating leases, easements and options, and curing title defects. Elena has presented at national legal seminars on real estate transactions, and particularly, due diligence.
Elena graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University in 2006 and subsequently earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Duquesne’s School of Law, where she served as a Teaching Assistant for a nationally ranked Legal Research and Writing Program. She earned numerous honors, including a CALI Award for the highest grade in Sales and the Uniform Commercial Code. During her undergraduate studies, Elena competed in NCAA Division I Swimming and served as team captain. She still enjoys swimming in her free time, along with golfing, music and spending time with her family.
