Chad D. Tomosovich
Chad Tomosovich is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Galanter Tomosovich, LLC. Prior to forming Galanter Tomosovich, LLC, Mr. Tomosovich practiced law at a large Pittsburgh-based law firm which had offices worldwide and with a medium-sized Pittsburgh-based law firm.
Mr. Tomosovich has practiced in the area of corporate/business law for almost 20 years and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiations, structuring and negotiating various types of business transactions, commercial and private finance, corporate governance issues, shareholder disputes and other commercial law issues. Mr. Tomosovich has led transactions which range in size from very small to hundreds of millions of dollars, across a broad range of industries. His practice focuses on privately held companies, and he routinely advises both start-up companies and mature enterprises on business and legal issues. This broad range of experience makes Mr. Tomosovich a valuable counselor to any business.
In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Tomosovich has engaged in multiple entrepreneurial ventures and has started and run a number of businesses. His experiences as an entrepreneur include the sale of one of his businesses to a public company, which gives Mr. Tomosovich valuable insight into the complete “life cycle” of a business. His personal experience as a businessman gives Mr. Tomosovich the unique ability to understand the business side of his clients’ issues and to facilitate the kinds of practical solutions business owners need and desire.
Mr. Tomosovich received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Elon University and J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Tomosovich is the founder of Three Rivers Entrepreneurs, a private association made up of local entrepreneurs and businessmen, and is a member of the board of directors of Magee-Women’s Research Institute and Foundation and the Duquesne Club Health and Fitness Committee. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Development Initiative which is an extensive 10-month program to train and foster rising leaders in the Pittsburgh community. Mr. Tomosovich has also served as an instructor for entrepreneurs at Robert Morris University. He has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star numerous times, a recognition given to only 2% of Pennsylvania lawyers.
